Description

This position provides oversight for and leadership to the University of Saskatchewans Animal Care and Use Program to ensure compliance with Canadian standards (Canadian Council on Animal Care - CCAC), applicable government legislation and regulations, professional and ethical codes, and policies established by the university. The University Veterinarian acts as the universitys primary liaison with regulatory and accrediting agencies on matters of compliance with international, federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
