Job Description: REPORTING TO A POPULATION AND PUBLIC HEALTH - HEALTHY FAMILIES SUPERVISOR, THE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING DIAGNOSTIC, THERAPEUTIC, AND CONSULTATIVE SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE RURAL SASKATOON HEALTH REGION AND SASKATOON SERVICE AREA.
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the Saskatoon Health Region and its affiliated agencies
EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF DIAGNOSTIC AND REMEDIAL PROCEDURES. KNOWLEDGE OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND DISORDERS. PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IS PREFERRED.
