GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
As a Programmer/Operator, you will be required to create and execute programs for production parts that will consistently conform to specification.  Proficient use of measuring tools will be essential to confirm product quality and to troubleshoot operational issues.  You must have a solid understanding of machining and milling equipment such that you are able to properly inspect and perform basic preventative maintenance to keep the equipment clean and in good repair.

It will be necessary for you gain full knowledge of our quality standards and the specific department procedures as well as how these standards and procedures affect the finished product.

You will be expected to make a mature and responsible contribution not only in a Production capacity but also in the development of other team members.

  REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:
    Conventional lathe and mill operation knowledge
    Knowledge in basic arithmetic and geometry
    Attentive    
    Observant, can identify defects easily and troubleshoot
    Strong Communication skills and team-focused

    Positive attitude
    Willing to learn new skills

JOB EXPERIENCE:
    2-3 years in production area (or equivalent)
    Experience with the programming of CNC machining and milling equipment
    Journeyperson machinist certificate an asset
