Job Description: A challenging opportunity exists in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan with the Mental Health and Addictions Program. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the general direction of the Director of Mental Health and Addictions, the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs.  Responsibilities include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counselling sessions with clients.  This position will be expected to assess individual and group needs of clients and implement plans to help clients reach their goals. This position will also provide educational programming to the community partners as well as support community initiatives which promote positive and healthy lifestyle changes.

To qualify you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Diploma in Chemical Dependency Studies or equivalent which would be deemed acceptable to the Employer
Experience working in a cross cultural setting
Valid Saskatchewan drivers license
