Description

The Water Treatment Plant Assistant Operator will be supervised by the Water Treatment Supervisor, with overall accountability to the Kahkewistahaw First Nation Chief & Council.  He / she will be responsible for the daily activities and duties consisting of controlling any process which effects the quality of the water, this includes the day to day maintenance, laboratory testing, administration which effects the quality and the quantity of the water for the safety and health of the community.

Qualifications:
Must have some experience in the same field.
Must possess working knowledge in Water Treatment Plant Operations.
Must be willing to work towards Sask Water Quality Training Certification (water treatment & distribution and waste water treatment and collection) level 1.
Some understanding and knowledge of chemical mixtures as it pertains to water quality.
Some knowledge and experience of testing results for water treatment plant and writing reports.
Knowledge of water / sewer lines in the community.
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Submit a drug screen result (within 30 days), and a criminal record check (within 30 days) with resume.
Submit three current written letter of references with resume.

Deadline is Friday September 11, 2015 by 4:30 p.m.
