THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Chief Retail Office, this position leads the implementation of business strategies and plans for the General Insurance Agencies, ensuring synergies with the corporate strategies of Innovation Credit Union and the Agencies." Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the attracting development, engagement, motivating and retention of talent dedicated to serving needs of members; build, coach, develop and motivate a strong management and employee team
Leads the organization in gathering, developing and implementing innovative processes and procedures that help support efficiency and contribute to ensuring a world-class customer experience.
Support the development of a service delivery culture that reflects trends and meets the current and future needs of customers
Develop financial targets for the insurance business. Provide timely reporting to executive leadership and board on the reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results in relation to financial targets.
Provides advice and counsel to executive and board regarding compliance, interpretation of laws, rules and regulations
PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:
University degree in Commerce /Business Administration
Life License Qualification Program and/or Level III with CAIB Designation
7 - 9 years of job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Entrepreneurial spirit suited for fast-paced, results-based
