The role of the dishwasher is to provide fast and effective cleaning of all kitchen utensils, dishware, glassware and pots, and to maintain the kitchen area ensuring cleanliness and tidiness. Ability to do some food prep and heavy lifting may be required. The dishwasher must be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment.

Dishwashing Skills
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware

- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
