The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of general building and property maintenance operations. The Maintenance manager is also responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. Additional duties include managing the departments budget, staffing levels, administration and as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading a high performing team with a strong work ethic, team work and initiative
Organize, direct, evaluate, develop and train maintenance team
Assist team in maintenance duties as required.
Product ordering and storage
Developing junior management
Recruitment and training of staff
Scheduling
Performance management; monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Exemplary leadership and management of health and safety program
Participate as a part of high functioning management team in all aspects of the Operation of the Resort
SKILLS ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate possesses minimum 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered as well.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, general repairs
Experience in the following (will be given preference):
o HVAC
o Electronic Diagnostics
o Water Treatment
Have strong organizational skills
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and multi-task
Be flexible with work schedule and be available to work weekends/evenings in order to accommodate our client's needs.
Willing to relocate
