LOOKING FOR JAPANESE AND KOREAN SPECIALITY COOK
Izumi Japanese Restaurant serves various Asian style foods, including Japanese and Korean-style Japanese dishes, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Currently we are looking for a quality cook to join our restaurant. All applicants that seek long term employment are welcome; including aboriginals and new immigrants, etc.
Requirement:
-At least three years of work experience in Japanese or Korean-style Japanese cuisine is required.
-Basic English is required.
-Applicants who can work in this position for at least one year are preferred.
-Full time job seekers are preferred.
Duties:
- Prepare, cook, and complete various Japanese dishes including hot foods dishes
- Plan menus and develop weekly or seasonal specials
- Monitor and order supplies
- Supervise kitchen helpers and train junior cooks
Wage: $15 per hour
Benefit: 6% of vacation fee or 3 weeks of paid vacation, free meals and gratuities.
