The Department of Indigenous Studies and the Womens and Gender Studies program at the University of Saskatchewan invite applications for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We are seeking a scholar with specialization in womens and gender issues, and Indigenous peoples and cultures. Priority will be given to candidates who work with Indigenous knowledge, engage in innovative learning, teaching, research, and creative practices, and explore the intersections of gender and Indigenous issues. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the core curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students, mentor students, liaise with Indigenous communities and organizations, actively participate in program development and administration, contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum, and maintain an active research program.
