The Meat Manager is responsible for the efficient and fiscally responsible operation of the Meat department. The Manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Health and Safety and other programs and initiatives.
You must demonstrate outstanding leadership while serving as a role model.
Be able to manage direct reports including selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, and succession planning.
You will be required to communicate operational requirements and changes to the meat dept employees.
You must be able to work a variety of shifts and manage store Operations as required including rotating nights with other dept managers closing the store, financial targets, sales, margins, sales, and labour cost control. Coordinate maintenance of dept equipment and repairs. Maintain a clean a safe working environment as per Company requirements. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, have above average communication skills-both oral and written and proficient use of Microsoft products.
You are required to have Meat cutting and Retail store experience, experience in reading and analyzing financial reports and adhering to budgets. A combination of educations and experience will be considered.
