The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Small Animal Neurology beginning July 1, 2016, or when successful candidate is available. Applicants must have a DVM (or equivalent), be eligible to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan, and must have Diplomate status or credentials acceptable to the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology) at time appointment takes effect. Previous academic experience and advanced research degree are desirable. Responsibilities include high quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate veterinarians in veterinary clinical neurology/neurosurgery; organizational responsibility and participation in clinical teaching and service programs; and scholarship and research in neurology/neurosurgery. Salary ranges: Assistant Professor $90,796-109,108; Associate Professor $109,108-127,420.This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package including pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), sick leave, travel insurance, death benefit, dental plan, extended health and vision care plan, employee assistance program and flexible health and wellness spending program.
