Are you Chemical Engineer with experience treating heavy crude and crude heavy oil with sand? We are looking for you to join a world leader in the Chemicals industry and be responsible for supporting the Fluid Separation chemical programs in Canada. You will be working with customers to develop products for new applications, improving the existing products considering the system requirements, and managing the field trials to support sales in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
With the backing of a strong diversified global chemical company you will work independently, analyzing oil gathering systems and building relationships with customers and the co-workers. Education:
Post-graduate degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or any other related field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience with treating heavy crude and CHOPS
Technical sales skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and perform required tests at customer site to develop EB's and REB's based on system characteristics
Manage field trials of recommended products at customer facilities
Prepare detailed technical test and trial reports in accordance with internal and customer requirements
Visit customer sites for system survey and meetings
Troubleshoot problems & recommend measures for improving treatment programs and operating parameters
Provide "on the job" training for less experienced colleagues during field visits
Assist in the development and delivery of Fluid Separation training material for internal and external courses
Communicate successful cases with the Marketing Disciplines
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
