The Nipawin Journal has an opening for a reporter with an emphasis on sports.

Located in the heart of lake country, just hours away from a variety of fishing and outdoor activities, Nipawin is also near provincial and regional parks as well as the Prince Albert National Park.

The Nipawin  Journal is looking for someone with enthusiasm, confidence and an ability to work independently as well as part of a fun-loving newsroom.

Experience with InDesign is an asset as are photography and writing skills along with as a reliable vehicle and camera.

Nipawin is a diverse community of about 4,000 people and has much to offer a sports minded individual including first class baseball, hockey fishing and running facilities.

The award winning newsroom is responsible for producing a quality newspaper weekly and contributing to another.
