Description

Responsibilities:
- Leadership role within the accounting team
- Internal/external financial reporting
- Financial analysis
- Maintain internal control system and support the functions of the team
- Guide day-to-day activities for accounting technicians

Requirements:
- Professional designation, or equivalent experience and education
- Experience in preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Knowledge of internal control systems
- Knowledge of various taxation systems (GST/PST/Income Tax)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Solid problem solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
