Summary:
Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the In-Store Pick-Up (ISP) Outfitter will greet and assist customers in placing orders, check item availability, answer questions about new and previous orders, and solve any minor issues. During the order and pick-up process, process customer funds accurately and appropriately, while explaining additional Cabelas services and processes.
Responsibilities:
Provide legendary customer experience for every customer and promote Cabelas programs
Place orders on behalf of the customer in store in order to get an item that may not be available in the store at the time
Receive ISP orders that arrive in store from the Distribution Centre
Call customers to inform them that their orders have arrived
Handle questions about how the ISP process works to ensure the customer is well informed
Process gift card sales through the POS in order to create ISP orders
Use current POS and SAP systems to accurately and appropriately complete customer transactions following all policies including those requiring checking for identification and age requirements; knowledge of how to process debit, credit cards, etc.
Respond and handle customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope
Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
Qualifications:
One or more years experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customers expectations
Ability to use good judgment and logic
A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required; training will be provided if necessary
Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
Knowledge of Cabelas specific products is an asset
Must be available days, evenings and weekends
