Description

The Hotel Saskatchewan is looking for a Director of Rooms Operations to join its award winning team.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Rooms Operations ensures Rooms Operations meet the brands standards, targets customer needs, ensures associate satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the division.  Areas of responsibility include Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Fitness Centre and Tenants.  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Develop & implement the strategic plan for the Rooms division that is aligned with the brands business strategy and leads its execution.
    Prepare annual budget & ensure the division operates within it.
    Monitor & approve labour and revenue forecasts.
    Champion the brands service vision for product & service delivery and ensure alignment among the Rooms leadership teams.
    Communicate a clear, positive & consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
    Facilitate the development of creative solutions to continually improve guest satisfaction results.
    Ensure associates are treated fairly and equitably.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    College diploma
    Minimum  4 yrs experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, management operations, or related professional area;
    Strong organizational, leadership and teamwork skills;
    A clear understanding and appreciation of exceptionally high standards & the ability to meet and exceed on a consistent basis;
    Ability to adapt to new situations, take initiative and work well in a team environment;
    Excellent written & oral communication skills;
    Ability to work in a faced paced environment.
