The Ehrlo Sport Venture Program is seeking a part-time Community Recreation Support Worker (CRSW) to work at Ehrlo Sport Venture Library in Regina. The CRSW will be working in the community to run a supportive athletic and artistic respite program for children with mental health disorders. The CRSW will be responsible for the development and implementation of structured recreation programs which include, but are not limited to, weekly programming for children with mental health disorders and holiday day camps during school breaks. The CRSW will provide direct service provision of respite programming and will assist with the operation of Ehrlo Sport Venture Library, including equipment lending, inventory control, and equipment repair, and Ehrlo community sports leagues as required.
Qualifications:
Education
- Have or working towards a Kinesiology Degree, specializing in Adapted Physical Activity Studies and/or Recreation Technology Diploma and/or Educational Assistant Diploma and experience with children with mental health disorders.
Experience
- Minimum of one to three years of related to youth education, special education, and/or residential or youth care experience.
- Staff must hold a class 5 novice 2 or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
Starting wage is $19.82 to $22.59 per hour depending on education and experience.
