Kitsaki Projects Limited Partnership (KPLP) is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Powerline Technician. This will be a Full- time term contract position that will report to the KPLP Operations Manager in the community of La Ronge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-    Erect and maintain steel, wood or concrete poles, towers and guy wires
-    Install, maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables, insulators, conductors, lightning arrestors, switches, transformers, street lighting and other associated equipment
-    Splice, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution and transmission networks


Abilities Required:
-    Willing to learn and take direction
-    Must be able to communicate well with co-workers
-    Work under pressure on some situations
-    Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
-    Must be willing to work flexible hours

Experience/Education:
-    Journeyman Powerline Technician Certificate
-    Previous work experience (5-10 years)
-    Valid driver's license
