The YWCA Regina is a non-profit organization that exists to support and empower women, children and youth in addressing their diverse needs in the realization of their full potential.
Three (3) casual positions are available as Childcare Workers in our YWCA Lumsden Childcare Centre. These position may be of interest to a university student.
The successful applicants will be responsible for the children's well-being as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe environment for all children
- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles
- Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude
- Be punctual and dependable
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- Must enjoy working with children
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have Tuberculosis test
- Must have a clear Criminal Record Check
Work Setting
- Day-care centre
