This position supports the work of the Student Affairs Case Manager (CM) and contributes to the realization of the mission and vision of the Student Affairs Case Management (SACM) office and the Students of Concern Advisory Team (SOCAT). The SACMs mission is to provide a coordinated response to students in crisis and/or at-risk. This often consists of developing an action plan that includes crisis intervention, connection to follow up services, referrals, problem solving, campus navigation, and coordination of care and services. The SOCATs mission is to provide a proactive, collaborative campus-wide approach for responding to critical incidents and students of concern. To accomplish this objective, this position works with the case manager to: investigate emergent situations, meet and work collaboratively with students and / or multiple stakeholders in gathering information, coordinate individual and / or institutional responses to student crises/crucial incidents and ensure follow up to outcomes / recommendations.
