The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position.
Faculty II - ABE INSTRUCTOR (ESWP)

Responsibilities: Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute's Adult Basic Education - Essential Skills for the Workplace program. Duties will include implementation of course materials (including reporting on learner outcomes and activities), liaising with local businesses, and the coordination of outside agency involvement. Instructor will also be responsible for workplace job placement, supervision and coordination.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Education or related subject area with primary emphasis in adult education and/or career counseling. Qualified and experience in the use of career assessment tools, life skills coaching, and use of Internet for career exploration. Applicant should have demonstrated knowledge of and involvement with local businesses, community and labour market. Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required.
