responsible for the well-being and safety of the women and children staying at the shelter, for implementing services and programs provided by Transition House, maintaining appropriate client confidentiality, providing support counselling, advocacy, information, referral and transportation, assisting with household operations and maintenance, ensuring resident families protection and carrying out administrative functions. DVCs provide practical support to members of the community who are seeking safety or information.
DVCs work closely with all agency staff to promote client safety, empowerment, facilitate change and healing in an environment that is physically and emotionally safe.
MUST be able to work all shifts (days, evenings and nights). Regular availability is essential.
