HD Management is a Saskatchewan based firm that provides labour to the growing potash industry.
Duties: Reporting to the Rig Supervisor, this position assists in the proper service and preventative maintenance of a service rig used in the removal of potash by solution mining. Other responsibilities include the following: Maintain the service rig for the production needs; Provide assistance in removing and inserting large heavy pipe into and out of the ground; Assist in the general maintenance of the Service rig; Communicate with supervisor and co-workers on task status; Tracking and maintain supplies; and general clean up and tidying of work area.
Qualifications: Grade 12 Diploma. Preference will be given to those that have relevant work experience and/or knowledge of minefield operations (above ground mining). Other qualifications include: Excellent eye, hand and foot co-ordination and fast reflexes; Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers and supervisors; Ability to comprehend and complete instructions; Mechanical inclined with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues; and the ability to learn and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Work outdoors in all weather conditions; Must possess a valid driver's class 5 license; Complete pre access A&D testing; Provide a criminal record check; Must travel to work; and this position is required to wear personal protective equipment.

- Manipulate sections of pipes or drill stems at rig floor during drilling and during removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems and drill bits
