The David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Administrative Assistant with Construction experience. This position will report directly to the Office and project Managers and will require a very organized individual with strong time-management and Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
The Role:
Managing and monitoring the front desk
Answering and directing calls using a multi-line switchboard
Providing assistance to visitors, job applicants and clients
Ensuring all visitor time sheets and orientations have been completed
Supporting the project managers with any administrative duties they have - prepping documents
Entering staffing hours into a data base
Prepping board rooms for meetings
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous Construction Admin Assistant experience
Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to draft memos
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create basic spreadsheets and enter data
Strong verbal communication skills
The ability to prioritize and multi-task
