Description

Winmar (o/a 101146011 Saskatchewan Ltd) located at 305 Dewdney Ave. East, Regina, Saskatchewan is looking for one (1) full-time and permanent carpenter (NOC 7271) to be assigned to the said location.

As Carpenter, the successful applicant is expected to perform the following duties:

     Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
     Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
     Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
     Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
     Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
     Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
     Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
     May prepare cost estimates for clients.

The chosen candidates will receive a wage of CAD$ 22.00 per hour. All federal and Saskatchewan mandated benefits will be provided.

Qualifications:

     Completion of secondary school is required.
     Relevant work experience is an asset.
