Description

Concentric is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with core competencies in Buildings, and the Environment.  We have six offices in Canada, located in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Mississauga, London, Ottawa, and Iqaluit.

To support our continued growth and geographic expansion, we are actively seeking the following position.

Full Time permanent Junior Engineer for our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location in the Buildings and Infrastructure Business Unit.

Candidates should possess, as a minimum, a Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited Canadian University.

Candidate should have one (1) year work experience in a consulting structural design office or a related field.

Qualifications:

    Licensed with (or eligible for membership) Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan
    Fluent in English (written and oral)
    Proficient in steel, concrete, masonry and wood design
    Excellent report and letter writing skills
    Strong problem solving skills
    Self motivated
    Good communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, written, and presentation.

Responsibilities:

    Undertake investigative, design, and construction assignments involving existing or new structures
    Preparation of proposals
    Client liaison, both written and oral
    Maintain accurate records of project work and meetings; prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and other written materials related to the work.
    Assist with project management, cost tracking, and scheduling of various technical projects.

Candidates must have a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License, a vehicle, and proof of insurance.
