Description

The Breakfast & Lunch Coordinator   will be supervised by the school principal at Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School. He/ she will be responsible to ensure, implement schedules and serve breakfast and lunch to the students and staff. This will be Monday to Friday during the 2015/ 2016 school year.

Qualifications:

-    Have experience and knowledge with coordinating meal services to the students.
-    Plan menus and prepare meals on nutritional standards and the school meal program.
-    Follow safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
-    Supervise the kitchen and cafeteria and ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
-    Responsible for planning, preparation, service costing for breakfast and lunch services.
-    Must have strong organization skills and work independently.
-    Safe Food Handling Certificate followed with experience in food preparation for large groups of people.
-    Possess the ability to maintain the management of the kitchen.
-    Be a team player and have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
-    Have the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
-    Good oral and written communication skills  
-    Be punctual, dependable, and ensure that confidential matters remain confidential.
-    Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
-    All applicants are required to submit a Current Vulnerable Sector check and a current Drug Screen Result.
-    Three (3) current written letters of references along with cover letter and resume.
