DUTIES:
Working under the direction of the Supervisor of Concession & Catering, the Municipal Worker 1 will be responsible for providing excellent
customer service in the Servus Sports Centre Concession. Duties include:
- taking food and beverage orders, operating the till, and handling cash
- maintaining a clean and well-stocked concession area
- cooking, preparing and handling food
- maintaining the inventory of products
- using a computer and balancing the till at the beginning & end of every shift
- waitressing for buffet style dinners
This position works approximately 8  24 hours per week, and includes evening shifts and weekend work. Some heavy lifting is required along with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Grade 12 education is required.  The  successful candidate must be  able  to  multi-task  and  work  in  a  fast  paced,  team  environment. Excellent customer service and cash handling skills are essential. Previous food preparation experience is considered an asset. A valid Alberta food handlers course is considered an asset, but not required.
