Description

The Building Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing SaskTel buildings and properties with required certification and licensing.  In this position you will act as chief engineer and refrigeration engineer as specified in the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act of Saskatchewan. You will also provide project and contract management on contracted building services.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Building System Technician certification or equivalent and SMG (Saskatchewan Municipal Government) 5th class Engineers certificate and SMG Refrigeration Engineers Certificate.
2. Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
3. Ability to lead and train others.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
5. General knowledge of fire codes, regulations, procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
6. General knowledge of Environmental regulations and Policies.
7. Valid Drivers License.
