Description

The Executive Director will be responsible for the development, implementation and on-going functions of strategic planning and processes that promote and support the financial, operational and organizational well-being of the SPSF.  Another key component is to raise the awareness and establish strong relationships with stakeholders including Saskatoon Public Schools, the business community, peer organizations, educators, and families in the division.  The Executive Director reports to the Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors.   This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has passion for young people, education, is results oriented. The Executive Director will be provided administration support by the School Division to facilitate SPSF operations.

Education and Experience Needed:

    University degree, diploma or certificate with a focus on business or communications.  A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is an asset.
    Experience working with non-profit organizations in management and/or volunteer capacity and reporting to a Board.
    Demonstrate experience with developing programs including major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, corporate sponsorships and special events.
    Ability to work easily and effectively with diverse groups, build relationships, be articulate and engaging and relate to and motivate prospective donors.
    Experience collaborating with institutional organizations considered an asset.
