Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for mechanical and preventative maintenance of Inland Concrete mobile equipment and concrete batch plant. This role will follow guidelines for service times and inspections, and communicate any problem or issues immediately upon discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and preventative maintenance on batch plant and mobile equipment
- Trouble shoot equipment failures
- Timely and accurately complete the required paperwork, and ensure records are accurate
- Supply information for maintenance tracking problems
- Assess work priority and track preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency situations to ensure continuity of operations
- Follow all safe work procedures and policies to ensure an incident-free work environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing equipment problems and performing scheduled maintenance service is required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Mechanical and analytical skills
- Experience in great customer service and customer care is required
