Description

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization providing services to business members.  The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce also partners with Labour Market Services to provide a satellite office at the same location.  The office administrator reports to the General Manager and is responsible for providing administration services for the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce and client support services for Labour Market Services.

Responsibilities include:
Act as a professional point of contact for members by answering and directing calls or providing information and receiving visitors,
Manage client database including billing, tracking and data reporting,
Manage the administrative duties for office services, including photocopying, and filing, manage incoming and outgoing mail, maintenance of office supplies and equipment,
Provide administrative support for special event programs including but not limited to logistical support, tracking and billing of attendee registrations and sponsors,  
Provide support for meetings including material production and logistical support; travel planning and calendar management,
Basic bookkeeping support (invoicing, accounts receivable)
Provide administrative support and assistance to Labour Market Services clientele accessing the office for job search services,  
Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Personal characteristics:
The office administrator will demonstrate competence in the following areas:
Maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally,
Exceptional customer and client services standards,
Excellent oral and written communication skills,
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative support
Proficient with MS Office; and ability to learn client database system
Experience with accounting software an asset
