The Director Sales (Business Pre-Sales) is accountable for all aspects of business pre-sales support including technical sales support as well as bid and proposal management. This role is critical to the overall success in SaskTels ability to achieve our revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets in the business market. The Director works extensively with Business Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Operations to develop and position solutions with customers, and close opportunities.
WHAT CAN YOU BRING?
1. Business Administration/Commerce/Technology degree. Equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience building, managing, and coaching sales teams and developing/managing customer bids and proposals in the technology industry.
3. Strong technical background with demonstrated success in positioning and selling IT products and services. Previous experience in setting and exceeding sales targets and objectives is required.
4. Proven experience managing, motivating, and supporting large sales teams in remote locations.
5. Demonstrated success in leading and implementing large scale process and procedure changes.
6. Must consistently practice and display a high level of commitment to support customer demand and timelines.
7. Must demonstrate and display the following:

- strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
