Simpson Seeds Inc., a family-owned, Saskatchewan-based company, has grown to become the largest privately-owned specialty crop exporter in the province. With four locations and over 35 years of experience in the buying, processing and selling of specialty grains, our growing company now employs over 100 people and exports to over 80 countries.
Working with the Grain Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for receiving grain and coordinating the unloading of all trucks into the appropriate bins in a timely and correct manner.
Essential Skills:
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid Driver's License.
Availability to work weekdays (hours will vary )some OT and weekends may be required.
Some secondary education.
Experience in a receiving department is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Positive work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions both oral and written.
Ability to work effectively with a team, as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills
A farming background is an asset.
