The Good Spirit School Division invites all interested applicants to apply for a full-time permanent position of the Human Resources Assistant. This newly created position requires well established organizational skills with the ability to produce accurate work in an environment of frequent interruptions & changing deadlines.
Qualifications
Business Admin. or HR Diploma
Min. 3 yrs related experience in similar position
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office with proven skills to format & draft correspondence, forms, reports & proposals
Attention to detail
Ability to take initiative & work with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
High standard of ethics to handle & maintain sensitive confidential information
Duties
Read, understand & follow working instructions/ directions
Assist in establishing, organizing & maintaining department records including confidential files
Data entry of employee information & preparation of reports
Assist with the job posting process, including scheduling appointments for interviews
Assist with preparation of employment packages
Assist HR team on projects, initiatives, programs and events
Salary & Benefits:
As per the Out of Scope Salary Schedule, starting $43,942/annum dependent on qualifications,& Out of Scope Benefit Plan.
