The Role:

As an Inside Sales Representative you would be expected to utilize your communication skills to build strong relationships with customers and will be responsible for the following functions:

Prepare and follow-up technical quotations, order entry, and expediting.
Promotion of the client as an automation solutions provider by maintaining a high level of technical expertise and customer service.
Configure and maintain technical demo systems for use in-house and on-site by field sales and technical personnel, or customers.
Work closely with the outside Industrial sales and Technical personnel to support customers and grow knowledge base.
Responsible for exploring new customer opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

Community College or relevant experience
1 - 2 years inside sales / quotations or estimating experience with an electrical distributor or equivalent.
Excellent product knowledge (strong commercial product focus) is a definite asset.
Must be a customer service / sales-oriented person, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.
AS / 400 system knowledge literacy is a must.
Computer (MS Office) literacy.
