Plan Index Entry Clerk- Surveys

Location: 1301 1st Avenue, Regina, SK


Reporting to the Operations Manager, Surveys, this position is responsible for the following:

-Data entry of work into the Plan Index Tracking System (PITS), which includes entering the attributes of new packet requests, survey plans and support documentation, checking requests for required legal and technical documentation, interpreting plans, change order and support documentation
-Provide technical assistance, in person or by telephone, on matters such as plan preparation and submission requirements (Plan Submissions Online), amending of plans and client account setup inquiries
-Responsible for reviewing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) calls that are escalated by the Customer Support Team
-Review requests for the creation of abstract records for unpatented land and the granting of unpatented lands as well as assisting the Legal Survey Analyst with reviewing and preparation of plans

Position Requirements:
-Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
-Knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Databases and CRM
-Knowledge of the ISC website including searching techniques
-Knowledge of billing processes and procedures
-Knowledge of Arc View, Survey and LAND procedures
-Knowledge of plans of survey, the Land Surveys Directory (Plan Index Tracking System), Dominion Land Surveys System, and Legal Land Descriptions
