Description

The Town of Saltcoats is seeking a self-motivated casual Community Caretaker. The position is responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties at the Saltcoats & District Community Hall and the Town of Saltcoats Community Services Building.

Hours of work will include weekends and vacation coverage and will depend on facility rentals.

The successful applicant should possess:
- Grade XII
- Knowledge of cleaning routines and cleaning products
- Ability to work with others, including staff, volunteers, renters and the general public
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
