Description

The Rural Municipality of Foam Lake No. 276 (RM) invites applications for a qualified Administrator for a one (1) year maternity leave term beginning January 15th, 2016. The RM is a progressive municipality located in the heart of the Parkland region in northeast Saskatchewan. The municipality consists of 15.5 townships with the majority being highly productive farmland with a population of 587 permanent residents. It also includes the Organized Hamlet of Tuffnell and the Hamlet of West Bend as well as the Fishing Lake resort communities.
The municipal office is located in the Town of Foam Lake, 90 km west of Yorkton, serviced by provincial highways #16 and #310. Foam Lake offers a full range of services including K-Grade 12 public school, 4 sheet curling rink, hockey ice, brand new Waterpark, gym, golf course and community owned theater.
Reporting directly to Council, the Administrator works cooperatively with council to develop policies and apply best practices in the general management and operation of the municipality.  
Qualifications:
- Applicant must possess a minimum Class C Certificate in Local Government Administration
- Experience with financial operations, operating and capital budgeting and the entire assessment and tax process, tax enforcement procedure and general office management.
- Working ability to use utilize the MuniSoft software program and MS office software programs.
