The Physical Activity & Nutrition Coordinator will facilitate a centralized approach to support physical activity and nutrition for children and youth in Nakoda Oyade Education Center (NOEC).
This position will work with many stakeholders to implement the goals of the physical activity and nutrition initiative at the NOEC. This will include providing assistance and leadership in collaboration with education and health.
Responsibilities: Provide coordination and implementation of NOEC physical activity and nutrition plans. Facilitate access and work collaboratively with the key stakeholders and host communities to ensure physical activity and nutrition is encouraged and sustained. Consult with key stakeholders to enhance program access and services. Work closely with key stakeholders to develop policies, strategies, processes, and reporting systems that support NOEC physical activity and nutrition initiative. Actively participate on Boards and Committees that pertain to the job. Collaborate with client(s) & key stakeholders as necessary to resolve program or service issues. Work in a teamwork capacity to ensure high quality service is offered through the program.
Qualifications & Experience: Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or a strong combination of relevant training and experience.
