Medical Office Assistant
We are currently seeking a Part Time Medical Office Assistant in Paradise Hill for a one year maternity leave starting November. Wages would be $16-20/hour depending on education and experience, with a working schedule of Tuesday and Thursday 8:30  3:00.  Preference given to candidates who have completed the MOA certificate program or have experience in this specific field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-    Provide telephone and in-person receptionist duties for clinic
-    Maintain electronic medical records (Med Access)
-    Scan and file patients history / treatment records into the electronic medical records
-    Measure vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, height, and weight) on each patient and record in EMR
-    Assist doctor with minor patient procedures
-    Share information gathered from patients with appropriate team members to assist in more comprehensive care of the patient
-    Provide medical support as requested including scheduling and coordinating testing such ultrasound, specialist, and/or liaise with the pharmacy
-    Schedule patients for tests, follow-up appointments, and procedures
-    Provide administrative support including: reports, letters, invoices, and notices
-    Shadow billing (submissions and receiving bills) with Saskatchewan Health
-    Prepare exam and procedure room; select, set-up, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for all examinations and procedures
-    Manage medical and office supplies in the clinic including; inventory control and ordering as well as stocking the exam and procedure room
-    Participate in team and staff meetings as requested
-    Participate in staff development programs
