Training is provided on an ongoing basis, but experience maybe necessary.
Job Duties: wrapping/unwrapping hives; spring & fall maintenance of hives; feeding; creating nucs; queen rearing; supering hives; pulling honey; moving bees (evenings & some weekends if need be); must be able to carry honey supers (80+lbs)to the truck deck and extracting honey.
You maybe asked to do other assorted duties with regards to the apiary work.
Asset-the capability of driving standard trucks preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Work Hours- an average of 40 hours per week.
Location of Work: physical address: SE 14-56-8 W of 3.
Education: no formal education required by you need to have basic reading,writing and numeracy, to be able to write daily reports would be an asset.
Work Experience: 1-2 yrs.of beekeeping experience.
