Presently we have a job opening for the position of a Live-In Caretaker/Building Manager of a quiet condominium complex located in Saskatoon. The building is a 60 unit complex. The position is ideally suited for a couple, and is a contracted position. We are looking for the caretaker(s) to reside in our complex. The successful applicant will report to the Board of Directors of the Condo Association.
The Condo Board will provide a two-bedroom rental suite to the successful candidate at reduced rental rate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a caretaker/building manager;
- Have a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License;
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Vacuum and dust the complex;
- Yard maintenance including grass cutting and trimming the hedges;
- Snow and ice removal from the sidewalk and parking lot;
- Basic maintenance for the complex including changing light bulbs, door handles and any basic repairs as required;
- Inspection of the boilers on a regular basis;
- Arranging contractors to preform out-of-scope tasks;
- Dealing with owners on issues that may be arising in their unit;
- Enforcing condo rule and bylaw infractions to the residents of the complex; and
- Provide a report to the Board of Directors when requested
The successful applicant will be required to consent to a criminal background check and provide proof of their Saskatchewan Drivers License.
