Collaborates with Saskatoon Operations Manager and Project Manager on projects and manpower.
Work with operations to control costs and maintain profitability.
Examine drawings and specifications for various work tasks and ensures current information is communicated to site crews.
Schedules crews for the project and all required equipment and materials necessary to complete the tasks.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and that jobs are completed as per specifications.
Assist crew in maintaining safe workplace through support and training.
Track project schedules and cost reports.
Coordinate with engineers, client/owner, inspectors, etc.
Ensure training and development of employees.
Promote positive employee relations with all employees and management by treating all employees with dignity and respect.
Administer discipline as needed in a fair and consistent manner
Resolve/diffuses issues using open communication with employees and management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in commercial operations
Competent in reading and understanding blue prints
Competent in reading and understanding specifications
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated customer relations skills
Experience in E&I installations
Good trouble shooting skills
Excellent knowledge of all applicable codes.
Good organization and time management skills
