Agriculture in the Classroom Saskatchewan (AITC-SK) is dedicated to connecting kids and agriculture through curriculum-based programs and resources. To achieve this, AITC-SK liaises with the agriculture and education sectors across Saskatchewan to develop and deliver quality teaching resources and organize hands-on outreach programs for students. We are seeking an individual who is knowledgeable about agriculture and passionate about providing excellent learning opportunities for young people across the province.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and personality necessary to build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, industry presenters, volunteers, teachers, funders, and other AITC staff. A solid background, experience, and understanding of agriculture will be necessary to deliver quality programming that provides students with an opportunity to learn about modern agriculture and the important role it plays in our economy, culture, and community.
The programs assistant will be responsible for delivering presentations at various programs, as well as in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be based out of Saskatoon or Regina; other locations will be considered.
