Term: Full Time/Permanent 40 hours per week, overtime will be required

Duties:
Position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Operating a hi-rail vehicle to conduct the various repairs and rail maintenance on the CN system in Canada;
- On-track operation of hi-rail vehicles and related equipment to ensure safe and productive operations;
- Operating specialized equipment to install rail ties, rails cross arm rehabilitation and track maintenance;
- Maximising efficient utilization of rail resources by performing specialized handling and hauling services, backhoe and excavations as needed, asphalt services and general rail maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of railroad experience operating highly specialized hi-rail machinery, including advanced knowledge of the safe limitations, operations, and getting the specialized equipment on and off the railway;
- As equipment is extremely costly to operate and repair, several years of experience safely handling the various weights and sizes of railroad material using the equipment;
- Class 3 license with an air brake endorsement or equivalent.
