Assistant Manager Keethanow Lumber and Furniture

Under the supervision of the Manager of Keethanow Lumber and Furniture you will be committed to achieving Keethanow Lumber and Furniture service standards and maximizing sales and gross profit margins while providing our customers with the best shopping experience. This position is responsible for providing effective day to day supervision and leadership of the Lumber and Furniture store through visibility, involvement and interaction with customers and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
>Assist in overseeing yard associates, equipment operators, truck drivers and maintaining contractor relationships.
>Assist in supervising, scheduling and training lumberyard and Furniture store staff.
>Assist in ensuring paperwork is complete and correct prior to the delivery leaving the yard.
>Monitor yard inventory and report to management product minimums for reorder.
>Receive incoming freight, accurately counting, documenting, staging, and secure appropriately.
>Ensure company vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained regularly.
>Efficient maintenance and safety of yard and warehouses.
>Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, planning and organizational skills.
>Develop and maintain excellent presentation of the lumberyard, Furniture store and warehouses.

Requirements:
>Minimum of 5 years experience in the Lumberyard and hardware Industry with exceptional customer service.
>Excellent supervisory and organizational skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
>Valid driver's license and provide a valid criminal record check.
