Description

Harvard Developments Inc. is a full service real estate company involved in land development, property management and leasing and asset management.

Reporting to the General Manager of Development, the ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who understands the value of attention to detail and is number savvy.

This position is responsible for assisting with the management and administration of commercial development projects including accounting, financing, financial analysis/projections, leasing/sales, insurance, documentation and monitoring deliverables, timelines and critical dates. Accountabilities will also include administering Harvard's investments in residential land development projects.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary education in accounting or finance and at least five years of accounting related experience. Experience in a real estate and/or an accounting firm environment would be an asset as well as those who have achieved a professional accounting designation.

Preference will be given to an individual who possesses:

-Experience in job cost accounting;
-Excellent communication skills;
-The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
-Proven planning and organization skills; and
-Initiative.
