Executive Assistant
To Deputy Director of Corporate Services

The Opportunity
Working with and reporting to the Deputy Director  Corporate Services/Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will provide all executive and administrative support to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the office of the Deputy Director  Corporate Services/ Chief Financial Officer.
You will also provide significant support and coordination for the Board of Education supporting the CFO as corporate secretary.

Key Roles and Responsibilities    
Effective operation of the Deputy Director/CFO Office
- Ensures efficient day to day operation of the office including the organization and administration of all activities and functions and all this encompasses;
- Reviews and assesses priorities, proactively advising on concerns, activities and schedules, and resolving scheduling conflicts;
- Anticipates needs and proactively brings together appropriate people and resources to support the CFO in addressing issues;
- Supports deliverables assigned to the Office of CFO including organizational activities reporting ensuring priorities of the office are managed and delivered;

You are energetic, with a strong work ethic, and have an intense focus on customer service.  You care about quality, accuracy, and paying attention to detail, yet you can also see the big picture and how multiple elements of the work fit together.  You work effectively in a team as well as independently, and succeed with minimal supervision.  Your positive attitude is infectious and you both recognize your own strengths and have an ability to help others see and leverage theirs.

This position will commence as soon as possible; applications received prior to August 7, 2015 will receive priority. Interviews will be scheduled once a suitable pool of candidates is established.
